• Active Ingredient: Dexamethasone sodium phosphate (equivalent to 0.1% dexamethasone phosphate).
• Drug Class: Corticosteroid (steroid).
• Mechanism of Action: It reduces swelling, redness, and irritation by suppressing the body’s inflammatory and immune responses.
• Indications (Uses):
  • Inflammatory conditions of the conjunctiva, cornea, and anterior segment of the eye.
  • Allergic conjunctivitis, acne rosacea, certain types of keratitis (cornea inflammation), and iritis (iris inflammation).
  • Corneal injury resulting from chemical, thermal burns, or foreign bodies.
  • Inflammatory conditions of the external ear canal (allergic otitis externa).
• Form: A sterile, clear, colorless to pale yellow topical solution supplied in a 5 mL plastic squeeze bottle with a dropper tip.
