Ciprofloxacin-Dexamethasone 0.3-0.1% Suspension

• Ciprofloxacin (0.3%): A fluoroquinolone antibiotic that works by killing the bacteria causing the infection.
• Dexamethasone (0.1%): A corticosteroid that helps reduce inflammation, swelling, redness, and discomfort in the ear. 

• Acute Otitis Externa (AOE), also known as “swimmer’s ear,” in adults and children aged 6 months and older.
• Acute Otitis Media (AOM) in pediatric patients (age 6 months and older) who have tympanostomy tubes (ear tubes) and are experiencing drainage.

• For Otic Use Only: This medication is only for use in the ears and must not be used in the eyes or injected.
• Bacterial Infections Only: It treats only bacterial infections and will not work for infections caused by viruses or fungi.
• Dosage: The typical dosage for the approved conditions is four drops instilled into the affected ear(s) twice daily for seven days.
• Administration: Before use, the bottle should be warmed in the hand for one to two minutes and shaken well to avoid dizziness that can result from putting a cold suspension into the ear.
